BONE PLATE
Used to immobilize bone segments, a bone plate is a thin metal implant that is affixed with screws to align the bone and aid in the healing process. For prolonged bone fracture fixation, most bone plates are made of stainless steel (SS) or titanium (Ti) alloys.
